The New IFB preaches a false Gospel – that Jesus’ Blood shed for our sins on the cross was not enough to save us. Pastor Iain Hewson preaches, like the rest of the New IFB, that instead Jesus had to suffer in hell, otherwise we could not be saved. This denies the doctrine of the atonement, it rejects Jesus’ own statement that “it is finished”, and also is in opposition to the Christ’s statement that the thief would be with Him “this day” in “paradise,” among many other reasons.
