One thing that I can agree with the New IFB about is that YouTube is not a platform that cares much about free speech. Obviously, they aren’t obligated to post anybody’s videos, and they are spending thousands of dollars to host videos, so they can do what they want, but often their choices in censorship are little more than excuses to push a progressive agenda.
One of the negative aspects this also brings is that it ‘sanitizes’ certain people. Steven Anderson looks like a nicer person on YouTube because his holocaust denying videos are blocked there, so you can’t find that out. Even when I try to upload a video critical of Anderson and his profanity, this also gets blocked.
Well now Ben the Baptist is fighting the censors. Probably because of some reports made against his channel, he has set the channel and most of the videos to private. Currently, if you go to his channel you see this:
