Pastor Manly Perry of Old Path Baptist Church disassociated from the New IFB last year.
Prior to that, Perry had preached a sermon where he proclaimed himself to be an “Andersonite.” Obviously, now that he has separated from Anderson, this doesn’t look good. Anderson criticized him for being a flatterer for making the sermon, and now Perry says that Anderson’s initial reaction to the sermon was positive.
In the video below, you will see Anderson’s critique of Perry’s description of himself as an Andersonite, followed by Perry’s response. Perry says he “regrets” that he said it, but says that it was an honest sermon, and that the title was “clickbait.”
